Common candle ingredients known or suspected to cause bodily harm that you will never find in our candles

Mutagens: Agents (physical or chemical) that alter the genetic
constitution, usually DNA, of a cell. Mutagens are linked to a host of
diseases including cancer.

Phthalates: 75% of candles contain
these salts or esters of phthalic acid. They are linked to breast,
liver, and other cancers, disruption of hormone activity, reproductive
malformation, diabetes, and obesity.

Organ toxins: Chemicals
that adversely effect specific organs or organ systems (e.g. respiratory
toxins, cardiovascular toxins, immunotoxins, dermal toxins etc.).

Carcinogens: These are materials known or thought to cause cancer,
including everything on Prop. 65. If a chemical is thought to cause
cancer in CA, it isn't any safer elsewhere. Most commercial candles
contain these in the form of various components in their
fragrance oil.

Acute toxins: Highly dangerous chemicals or biological substances that cause adverse effects from either a single exposure or a series of exposures within 24 hours.

My favorite forever

I heard everyone talk about Allens candles on his crystal/candle IG live, so I decided to try one for myself. Not knowing how any of the mixture of fragrances smell, I shot in the dark and ordered one that I thought I might like.
I like very clean, mild, fresh scents so when I unpacked this one, I had a feeling I won’t like it, because it seemed strong and spicy.
BUT…when I sat down in the evening and decided to try it, I was shocked that I actually Love it…? It made me relax and I really enjoyed the crackle of the wick. It’s one of those scents that won’t just blend in and you don’t smell it after a while..it constantly reminds you to take a deep breath and enjoy every moment.

Excellence In Candle Making

I recently found Allen and his company via his YouTube channel. I felt instantly connected to his energy and enthusiasm regarding the art of candle making. One thing I immediately noted was his sophisticated sense of smell and appreciation for fragrance. While I don’t know his entire story, I am very proud and completely support the efforts he has gone through to become the person that he identifies as and that he truly is.

With that said, I just had to check out one of his candles! Based on the scent notes, I chose to try the Bavaria candle. Yum! While I consider my sense of smell to be pretty basic, this candle smells like a good cup of chai tea to me. I am curious as to which oil is used in this candle. It burns beautifully and evenly. The warning labels says to not burn the candle for more than 4 hours out a time and I feel that the perfect burn length for it is around 2 - 2.5 hours max. After the 2.5 hour mark, the. flame tends to get a little large and the melt pool quite deep.

The Bavaria candle has a pronounced cold throw. This gave me hopes for the hot throw as well. Well, I was not disappointed. I live in a small condo with an open floor plan and even with the front door open and a slight breeze in the room, I could enjoy the candles fragrance throughout my living room and dining room area.

This is a well thought out and constructed candle. With a net weight of 9.65oz, burn time of 40-50 hours, and a very delightful scent, it will well worth the value.

Amazing

Bavaria is my first of the Wanderlust collection. It has a beautiful earthy aroma and i love to wear it while mediating and it also is amazing as a room spray. The woodwick makes it even better! Love the sound♡ I can't wait to try the other scents!

Bavaria

This one makes me wish for spring. For hiking into the woods by my house. I sit back right now in this winter picturing in my mind the crisp breeze flowing through the trees with newly emerging plants popping up through the soil. I cannot wait. This is a great candle and a great gift for anyone who loves nature.
